Tomorrow Thursday, March 5 is Emerado Public Schools' Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences. These will be taking place between the times of 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm. There will be no Encore or after school services. Friday, March 6 there is no school due to Parent/Teacher Conference comp. day.

Reminders for events happening in March: *All of March is Reading month! March 2 - Read Across America, parents are welcome to come to school and read with students @ 2:20 pm. - Dress up as you favorite Dr. Suess Character. March 3 - Buffalo Wind Wings trip for students of the month. March 5 - Parent/Teacher Conferences 4 - 7:30 pm. No Encore. March 6 - NO SCHOOL (Comp Day) March 11 - Early Out @ 1:15 for PD. No extra-curriculars. March 13 - Parent/Student "Green Dance" 4 - 7 pm. More to come for a busy March! Have a great weekend!

Arvilla Lions Club will be serving breakfast from 9 am to 1 pm @ the Community Center in Arvilla. If your student is interested in helping to serve food, they will receive a free meal. Emerado Public School and buses will be two hours late on Wednesday, February 12. No before school activities. 1:15 pm dismissal for PD with no after school activities. Due to a water main issues beginning @ 1:30 pm, Emerado Public School will not have any after-school or extra-curricular activities. All students will go on buses after school (3:00 pm) unless notified otherwise.

The open enrollment period for families outside our district ends on March 1st. All who are interested, the enrollment documentation must be submitted before that time (March 1st) to be considered. Open enrollment info. can be found on the Emerado website @ www.emeradok8.com under the "Resources" tab.

Emerado Public School will be dismissing school today @ 12:30 pm due to road and weather conditions that are continually getting worse. There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 20th due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day as well as teacher Professional Development. Be cautious and safe out there!

On Friday (12-20), students in grades 1-8 will be sledding at Turtle River. Students will need appropriate winter clothing to sled as well as bring their own sled (no metal). Sleds will be brought from the school but only 10-12 are available. Please urge your student to bring a sled if you have one available to share.
