As we prepare for the 2024 football season, I am reaching out to see if your son will be playing junior high football this fall in Larimore. If so, please email me with their name, grade, a phone number, and an email address to which we can send any pertinent information. My email address is patti.aanenson@k12.nd.us. Also, a reminder that they must have their sports physical prior to the first practice which is August 12th. The physical form is on the Larimore school website and the completed form can be dropped off at the Larimore high school any time during the summer.

Emerado School Board Elections today Tuesday, June 25 from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm.
Today, Thursday, May 23 is our last day of school year with early dismissal @ 1:30 pm. Tuesday, May 28 - Summer Program begins. Thank you for sharing your students and have an outstanding summer, Bulldogs!

Today, Monday, May 20 - Track and Field Day @ 12:45. Tomorrow, Tuesday, May 21 - Quarter/Year Rewards and Assembly and last day for PreK students. Wednesday, May 22 - Kindergarten Graduation @ 10:00 am and last day for Kindergarten students, 8th grade Graduation @ 1:30 pm, 4th Quarter Report Cards. Thursday, May 23 - Last day of school year, early dismissal @ 1:30 pm.

*Update to last day of school. On Thursday, May 23rd Emerado Public School will dismiss students @ 1:30 pm to accomodate for parking and a funeral services held at Sunset Prairie Cemetery bordering our school grounds. Parent pickup will begin @ 1:20 pm, and school bus dismissal @ 1:30 pm. We apologize for this abrupt change, and any inconvenience this may cause.

Due to the construction of our new building beginning, we will be moving parent pickup to the north side of the parking lot. Officer Dan has put barricades and cones to follow. Please do NOT exit your vehicle, we will bring your students out to you. This change will be throughout the end of the school year. Sorry for any inconvenience but the safety of our staff and students come first. Todays early out will start with parent pickup at 1pm instead of the previous scheduled 1:20pm to allow room for our buses to dismiss. Thank you!

The Emerado Spring Concert that was originally postponed to the date of Thursday, May 9 has now been canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience.
4th grade students will be traveling to EGF for a water festival learning event today. They will depart at 11:30 am, and return to the school at 2:30 pm. If you would not like your student to attend, please let your students' teacher know through email or Seesaw.
PTO/Book Fair Family event is tonight, Wednesday April 24th. 4-6pm. There will be NO after school Encore today to prep. All students will be dismissed starting at 2:40pm

Scholastic Book Fair begins today April 22 to April 26. Today students in grades K-8 will be participating in an Earth Day community clean-up. Supervised students will work around the community picking up and cleaning around our school/community from 1:00 pm-2:30 pm. Tomorrow Tuesday, April 16th our 8th grade students will be traveling to Valley Middle School in Grand Forks for a Career Fair. Students will leave at 8:15 am, and return at around 12:00. If you would not like your student to attend please let your students' teacher know. On Thursday, April 18th our PreK students will be attending First Season at GF Purpur Arena. Students will leave at 8:45 am, and return at around 11:00 am. If you would not like your student to attend please let your students' teacher know. PreK Screenings - Friday, April 19. Just a few friendly reminders : We are still looking for donation items for our PTO/Book Fair event scheduled for April 24th. If you would still like to donate, please have those donations to the school by the middle of next week.
Also, our scheduled spring concert for tonight has been postponed. After school Encore is running it's normal schedule for today. Please notify your child's teacher with any schedule changes. Thank you!
