Next week's events - Tuesday, May 10 - PreK GF Park trip. Wednesday, May 11 - Early-Out PD @ 1:20 pm; no PM extracurriculars; all students home. Thursday, May 12 - PreK Screening 1:00 - 3:00 pm; Spring Concert for PreK-4th grade at 6:00 pm, 5th-8th grade @ 7:00 pm, no after school services. Friday, May 13 - Last Day of Encore/extracurriculars, Track + Field Day.
End of year dates to remember: Wednesday, May 11 - May Early-Out PD @ 1:20 pm. Friday, May 13 - Last Day of Encore/extracurriculars, Track + Field Day. Monday, May 16 - 8th grade field trip. Tuesday, May 17 - Report Cards, End of Year/Quarter Rewards. Wednesday, May 18 - Last Day of PreK, K-5 to Castle Park. Thursday, May 19 - Kindergarten Graduation @ 10:00 am (last day); 8th Grade Graduation @ 1:30 pm. Friday, May 20 - Last Day/Storm Make-Up out @ 2:00 pm.
Until Wednesday, May 4, Emerado Public School bus routes will be limited to paved or in town routes due to washed-out and soft gravel road conditions. Buses can meet on highways for morning student pick up and afternoon drop off if parents/guardians are unable to provide transportation to the school.
Attention Parents and Guardians: The playground located behind the school (south side) is CLOSED until further notice. Due to flooding the area has become unsafe. Officer Dan is aware of the situation and will be closely monitoring the area. The park on the East side of the building (orange slide) is open to use. Thank you

Emerado Bulldog Basic Auction will be live starting tonight @ 6:00 pm through the Emerado Public School facebook page. The link will be available through Monday, April 25th. Check out some great gift baskets, and other terrific options put together through local businesses and Bulldog staff!
Emerado Public School will be starting 2 hours late on Thursday, April 14th, buses traveling where it is possible. No after school Encore or extracurriculars. Friday, April 15 - No School. Monday, April 18th is our first storm make-up day.
There will be no in-school or bus services provided at Emerado Public School tomorrow Wednesday, April 13th due to current travel, weather, and road conditions. Virtual/distance learning day.
Emerado Public School will not be providing Encore or after-school services this afternoon Tuesday, April 12. All students will be dismissed at 3:00 pm today. Stay tuned for any updates today/tonight/early morning through WDAY, Valley News Live, and Instant Alert. Be safe!
Today Tuesday, April 12 students will be prepared to carry out virtual instruction due to inclement weather we may experience. Students will be provided with supplies necessary for these possible distance/virtual days. Early out is still scheduled for Wednesday, April 13 @ 1:20 pm for monthly PD, with no PM Encore. We will not have after-school PM Encore/extracurriculars for Thursday, April 14. No School on Friday, April 15 for Easter holiday. Monday, April 18 is a storm make-up day as school will be in session.
Attention Bulldogs: We have a few calendar updates and reminders. To help make up some snow days we have added the fallowing days to our school calendar; Monday, April 18th and Friday, May 20th. Students will be expected to attend school on these days just like any other scheduled day. Just a remind that we have an early out on Wednesday, April 13th. ALL students dismissed at 1:20.
Emerado Elementary is currently having internet and phone issues. We do not have an estimate on how long they will be down.
ATTENTION BULLDOG NATION: Wednesday, March 23rd is school picture day! We also have a change for our dress up week this week, Wednesday is NO LONGER Beach Day but has changed to Dress Your Best for Picture Day! Attention Bulldogs: Just to clarify, due to Parent Teacher Conferences, there will be NO morning or after school Encore offered on Thursday, March 17th. Conferences will run 4pm-8pm. NO SCHOOL Friday, March 18th for a Teacher Comp Day!

Please let your students' teacher know if you do not want them to participate/travel. Thursday, March 17 is P/T Conferences from 4:00-8:00 pm. There will be No Encore or services this day (AM+PM). Please claim a timeframe to meet with teachers now. Friday, March 18-No School-Comp Day.

The filing deadline for Open Enrollment Applications must be filed with the Emerado school district before the end of the last working day prior to March 1st of the year preceding the enrollment. Templates are available on our website www.emeradok8.com under "Resources" for more information.
