Reminder that there are still a few homework packets/bags available for pickup in the entryway of door #2 at the school. Bags will have names of students on them. Continue to urge your students to participate with their online/distance learning and to communicate with staff. If there is anything the school can help with to fight through barriers, let us know! We are in this together!
Today @ 1:30pm is our Emerado Parade. We do not have a set route we will be taking, however the plan will be to go through where students are picked up and dropped off daily throughout the year. We will go through as many streets as possible from there. Hope to see all your smiling faces in town! Dress warm!

Homework and food bags are available for pick-up in the entryway of door #2 at the school. These doors will remain open after hours to accomodate for work schedules.
If you do not contact the school, and do not receive meals your students' school materials will be in the entryway of door #2 for pick-up. Your students' name will be on the bag of materials.
The Department of Public Instruction needs to have confirmation from the families that are receiving meals from the Emerado Public School. Please email Loree and state "I would like to continue receiving meals." loree.prosser@emeradok8.com
The Department of Public Instruction has required that if you have a current Emerado student who receives/received meals, or is interested in receiving meals must email Loree Prosser by email @ loree.prosser@emeradok8.com.
New school materials will be sent out during meal delivery beginning tomorrow Tuesday, April 7th. PreK - 2 on Tuesday, 3-5 on Wednesday, and 6-8 on Thursday if needed. Please have materials ready to be collected outside your door in your Northrup Grumman bag, or in a plastic bag. We also have a drop box outside of door #2.
Due to road conditions no employee will be in the school building today Friday, April 3. No meals will be made or distributed at this time. Meals will continue on Monday, April 6.
Due to the weather and conditions of the roads, no employee will be in the school today Thursday, April 2nd. We will continue with lunch meals and delivery tomorrow Friday, April 3 weather permitting.

Educational materials will be ready to be picked up at 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm today. Other educational materials or lockers can be cleaned out when picking up materials. Please make arrangements if you cannot pick up at those times, or leave a message as we are in a flex schedule at the school to make sure we have someone present to let you in. No need to sign in and out. Northrup Grumman bags will be ready in the hallways by the office. Those who have lunch delivery set up with the school will also receive their educational materials at that time. Please keep an eye out for the bus to be efficient with deliveries. *All homework and instructional items will be ready to go home Thursday from 12-12:45. If you can not pickup, please make arrangements with the school. If you can, please clean out your child's locker at this time so we can work on disinfecting them.
* Report cards will be sent home early next week.
* Continue to communicate with teachers or the school via email, class dojo, SeeSaw, the school web page, our Facebook page, etc.
* Grades 4-8 will need their devices, if they need access to a device, please contact Mr Porath.
Students Grades 4 through 8 make sure to check your emerado k8 emails for communications from your teachers. Important information will be sent out in the next few days.
All students will be receiving instructional items, folders, resources, and plans beginning on Thursday, March 19th. 4th - 8th grades will need devices. We have started delivering food for today. If you have any other young children (ages 1-18) and would like a breakfast or lunch delivered for them starting tomorrow contact the school. If there is no answer please leave a message. Thank you
Regarding food pickup/delivery services: You MUST call TODAY 3/17/2020 to set this up for the coming weeks of school being closed. If you do not call today your name will not be on the list for pickup/delivery. We will extend the call time to noon today to accommodate the families who have yet to call. Thank you
Beginning tomorrow Tuesday, March 17, Emerado Public School will be providing lunches for pickup/delivery starting at 12:00pm. Please notify the school between the hours of 8:00am to 10:00am on whether you are able to pickup your lunch, or if it is not possible, to be delivered. Notify only once to set up pickup/delivery for the remainder of the week is all that is required. Pickups will happen at the East door, Door #2 or the "Parent Drive-thru" from 12:00pm to 12:45pm. Deliveries will begin at 12:00pm so stay alert when the "delivery bus" arrives after that time. Thank you and be safe!
Governor Burgum has declared that all ND districts will have no school services this week (March 16-20) to prepare for a long term plan. Stay tuned for updates later this week/weekend.
Tonight Friday, March 13th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm will be our Family "Green" Dance. No Encore or after-school activities will be provided in preparations for this event. Pictures, apparel, food, dance, and fun for all. Hope to see you there!
