Tomorrow Friday, October 1st will be a distance learning day for the Emerado Kindergarten classroom. We will taking the day for a thorough cleaning of the room and facility. All supplies needed to carry out instruction for Friday will be included in backpacks or bags to be brought home.

Tomorrow on Wednesday, September 8th will be Emerado Public Schools' first Early-Out/PD @ 1:20 pm. All students will be out of the building as there is no after school extracurriculars or activities. This will be taking place every 2nd Wednesday of each month outside of January. No Robotics today Tuesday, September 7. Today Friday, September 3 will have no Encore or after school activities. Monday, September 6 is Labor Day with no school services. Wednesday, September 8 is our school years first early-out PD that will continue monthly throughout the year. This will be the 2nd Wednesday of each month. All students will be picked up or on the bus at 1:20 pm for the early out days. Please be prepared for these days. New Health/Safety guidelines will be in place for the start of the year, and present on our school website www.emeradok8.com by the end of the day. These measures and trends will be monitored closely and re-visited each month.

With school starting tomorrow, the buses will be running. Bus drivers will contact the parents of students that live outside Emerado city limits. For in town students, there will be several stops. Two stops on the north side of Acks Trailer park, and two stops on the south side. Ms. Michelle will make a stop in the Emery Trailer Park, and Officer Dan will make one more stop near the water tower. The times will be between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM, approximately, so please watch for the bus, it will only wait two minutes. See you all tomorrow!

Emerado Public Schools Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan is complete for the 2021-2022 school year. The purpose of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) III Fund is to help safely reopen and sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impacts of COVID-19 on the nation’s students by addressing students’ academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs.During the period of the ARP ESSER award, EPS will periodically review and revise, as needed, its plan for the safe return to in-person instruction and continuity of services. The plan will be reviewed at least every six months, and EPS will seek and consider public input during the review process. 2 surveys are available under the "News" tab on our school site regarding ESSER and EPS Plan. With no morning or afternoon Encore, doors will be unlocked at 7:40 am, and students ready for pick-up at 2:45 pm. Students who are dropped off ahead of time can go to the playground, or wait in the entryway. Kindergarten (today) and 8th grade (tomorrow) graduation entry will be through door #2 beginning at 1:45 pm both days. Wednesday, May 19 last day of school, dismissal at 12:00 pm.
