This week at Emerado Public School we have 1st Quarter Report Cards that will be sent home, pictures beginning at 8:30 am tomorrow, Monday October 18, and No School Thursday and Friday with no after school services Wednesday, October 20. October 28 - Fall P/T Conferences (no after school).

Tomorrow on Wednesday, October 13 is Emerados' October early-out for professional development. No after-school activities as all students will be dismissed from classrooms beginning at 1:20 pm. Quarter 1 ends October 15. Monday, October 18 is Picture Day for all students and the beginning of Scholastic Book Fair. Next Wednesday, October 20 is the last day of the week to break for education convention Thurs. (21st), and Fri. (22). No after-school activities for Wednesday the 20th. Thursday, October 28 will be our Fall Parent/Teacher Conference from 4-8 pm, no after-school activities. Thank you!

Emerado Girls Basketball play in Manvel beginning at 4:00 pm today Tuesday, October 5th. The bus will leave Emerado at 3:00 pm. Good Luck Bulldogs!

Emerado has modified its health and safety guidelines from optional masks to required masks that will go into effect Monday, October 4th until our next meeting. You can find this information under "Resources" - Covid 19 health+safety information or "Emerado Health/Safety Guidelines - Oct."

Tomorrow Friday, October 1st will be a distance learning day for the Emerado Kindergarten classroom. We will taking the day for a thorough cleaning of the room and facility. All supplies needed to carry out instruction for Friday will be included in backpacks or bags to be brought home.

Emerado Girl's Basketball has a game in Northwood today, September 28 @ 4:30 pm. The bus will be leaving Emerado @ 3:45 pm.

Reminder that there is a Girl's Basketball game Tuesday, September 14th at 4pm in the Emerado gym. At this time we are asking that ALL visitors wear a mask when entering the building. If you do not have one, we have them available. Please enter through door #2.

Tomorrow on Wednesday, September 8th will be Emerado Public Schools' first Early-Out/PD @ 1:20 pm. All students will be out of the building as there is no after school extracurriculars or activities. This will be taking place every 2nd Wednesday of each month outside of January. No Robotics today Tuesday, September 7. Please take note of recent updates on our health/safety plan that consists of required masks on buses. You can find this and more info. on our website www.emeradok8.com.

Today Friday, September 3 will have no Encore or after school activities. Monday, September 6 is Labor Day with no school services. Wednesday, September 8 is our school years first early-out PD that will continue monthly throughout the year. This will be the 2nd Wednesday of each month. All students will be picked up or on the bus at 1:20 pm for the early out days. Please be prepared for these days. New Health/Safety guidelines will be in place for the start of the year, and present on our school website www.emeradok8.com by the end of the day. These measures and trends will be monitored closely and re-visited each month.

Great to see all our Bulldogs, and all the new Bulldogs joining us! We love having you here! All parent pick up and drop off will be at door #2, or the east side doorway. Have a great weekend!

With school starting tomorrow, the buses will be running. Bus drivers will contact the parents of students that live outside Emerado city limits. For in town students, there will be several stops. Two stops on the north side of Acks Trailer park, and two stops on the south side. Ms. Michelle will make a stop in the Emery Trailer Park, and Officer Dan will make one more stop near the water tower. The times will be between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM, approximately, so please watch for the bus, it will only wait two minutes. See you all tomorrow!
